Mitras LED Pre Order Starts Friday

Providing the GHL website is Upated by Friday this week we will start taking pre orders from our dealers for the Mitras LED unit, I am waiting final spec release so everyone knows exactly what they are getting.

I can confirm shipping will start 1st September so the sooner you do pre order the earlier you will receive after this date.

there will be two colour choices if these are not what someone wants then these will be a further special order.

LED type is standard with UV hyper violet. The non hyper violet will be available in Canada only for the hydroponic industry initially exclusive through Progressive Growth. For non coral keepers this will be rolled out also once we establish demand.
 
We can confirm the colours available

Black
Silver
Silver/White

For simplicity and so we can offer the 15% pre order discount payment will be in full.

Orders start to ship from GHL factory in Germany September 1st

The Pre order discount deal will end 1st August to ensure the order goes into GHL on time.

Final price (really not set to change than what has been announced prior) and coverage spec to follow once GHL make their official announcement.
 
Yes, we have tried before doing deposits but the chaos its causes is crazy, we end up chasing payments for months.
 
I'm loving the way the money requirements come out before the full details on the light, come on guys, you have kept people waiting for long enough don't you think, your asking for deposits before people know what they are getting.

Am I just having a bad day, I keep counting all this money and my hands are getting sore

Just to clarify, we are asking for no money what so ever until GHL release all the facts, I think we maybe the only distributor holding back, but we want to do this right and not have issues at time of delivery.

Remember the lamps do not launch until September so there is no great rush here

Steve at reefdreams in the UK is taking pre orders (I think you are in old blighty?) so give him a call at his store.
 
Yes we need better pictures and confirmation of the spread on these units to say the least. Especially for the price tag...

we are very happy that many many people are interested in our Mitras and we know that they all expect more detailled information and better pictures as soon as possible.
And I am amazed that we got a lot of preorders although the datasheets don't have a final state - thank you for your faith in us and our products!

We are still doing the last improvements, detail corrections and measurements before we go into mass production. As far as I can see the results in regards to the light output and light distribution could even be improved compared to what we saw at Interzoo (which was already very impressing). I am sure you understand that we don't want to give you just another preliminary information, you need facts!

They will be announced next week on our website www.aquariumcomputer.com - keep an eye on it!

I must admit he is right. We start collecting money when we have confirmed tech. specs and a final lead time - not before.
Reservations can be done earlier, of course.

Saying this I want to add that I decided to extend the discount period to give everyone a fair chance to get all the information he needs before he orders the lamp.
Our discount for the Mitras is now valid until 31. August 2012!

This is what Steve said to me on Friday, regardless to say, I'm giving him my money tomorrow for three lights.
There's faith for you, and I haven't even seen them :lmao:

All I have to do now is work out how to mount them :o
