I hear you. I went out on a limb and sent the $$$$ already. Esp knowing what Profilux stands for in the light business I just can't wait.
I hope to be one of the first ones across the pond to see this bad boy in person.

All very true :) I just thought I was anxious to see one of these but Doc wins that prize hands down :)

Yes I am crazy paying for something before even looking at it...but YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE.....and honestly I am getting too old NOT TO take the plunge!!!
 
Please note we will not be starting any pre order until we receive final confirmation of retail price for North America from GHL and they also give the go ahead we can start taking paid pre orders.

Once these details are released to me in due course I will make a firm announcement.
 
Thanks for the translation link Michael :) That made it much more understandable. Apparently I don't know as much German as I had fooled myself into thinking I knew LOL!

Wow, I was almost at the tip of making decision between radion, AI, sunbrite and now here comes form my Fav company- I am using their controller and it is awesome..guess I will wait...


BigAl, note for you..always use google chrome, it will automatically ask you for translation, :) everytime you want something translated..
 
So if I am reading the graph on the page correctly, the light spread will be approximately 34" x 26"?

I'm really looking forward to getting this!

At 190W per unit and comparable to a 340W MH lamp, this is definitely the fixture to have. Knowing GHL we will be able to tweak this fixture to our hearts desire. Not to mention, the spectrum is the best we have seen from an LED lamp.

Is it September already?:spin3:

See your patience may pay off HUGE for you! How does that saying go "Good things come to those who wait .... for the RIGHT LED light..." LOL

Thanks for the "Chrome" tip... I was a beta tester for it a good while back and after the first couple of releases I stopped trying it out. I guess I need to go back and give it another shot. :)

Wise words for sure. This should be one heck of an amazing unit especially coupled with what we already know the a ProfiLux controller can do.... WOW! Look out reefing world :) A new LED sheriff is coming to town :)

That's what I get from that graph too. Not bad at all! This will really help those people lucky enough to have the tanks that 36" increments are critical. Beats the pants off of a 24" x 24" coverage.

September... HURRY :)
 
Just because of the light spread of this fixture, I'm sold on it! I was considering 2xRadions at $1500, but the GHL is more advanced and for less money to cover my tank.

September must come fast :D
 
The fixture itself isn't very large so I'm curious as to how it will produce such large spread without upper tank spotlighting. I want to see these over a tank with pictures to show the spead is what it claims.
 
The lamps at Interzoo were quite high and no single independant negative report about spotting.

From what i can ascertain they are using some very funky reflectors (not lenses) but I am sure more critical detail about this will be released soon.

I am receiving all your emails I am sorry i can not reply to all of them there are simply too many, but to answer the biggest questions - No further news on pre orders as we await pricing structure confirmation. Once GHL give us the go ahead I will announce it here, but I thank you very much for all your kind emails and phone calls wanting to shower our dealers with $$$ :)
