Mix macro in fuge ????

Is it possible to put a couple different kinds of macro algae in a fuge or pick one and go with it.Battling a small hair algae and cyno problem due to high phosphates and nitrates.Any reply would help,thanks

You could put all different types. It doesn't really matter. Just stay away from caluepra

Caulerpa is fine in a 24 hour photo period. I actually like it alot for it's growth rate and lockup ability...

Sure, mix it up. The more the better. The only challenge with culerpa is that it tends to go sexual. This makes a milky mess all over the tank. For this reason, I prefer chaeto.
