Can an Atlantic Giant and Yellow Reidi's be in the same tank?

Atlantic Giant seahorses being... ??? I assume you're referring to H. erectus. It doesn't matter really though.

Yes, H. erectus can be kept with yellow reidi, and red, reidi, and green reidi, and... you get the picture (since seahorses change colors, and all).

However, they might all die. Or not. There does seem to be a risk in mixing different species of seahorse though. Different species (and the same species from different sources) can be asymptomatic carriers of different strains of bacteria that others don't have resistance to. When the two species (or sources) are mixed, they could get each other sick. It doesn't always happen, but it does seem to be a risk. It's up to you.

Considering the health problems your current seahorse has had, I wouldn't recommend adding any new seahorses for a while, whether they are "Atlantic Giants" or not.

I'm convinced that my horse didn't have any health problems. It was just me getting nervous and not knowing if I was doing the right thing. He has since been doing great. Has lots of energy and eating well.

I, like many other seahorse keepers, have given up on trying to mix seahorses because it is the seahorses that pay the ultimate price.
I have tried many times and have lost 9 seahorses in all with such attempts.
While it is occasionally successful, sometimes even without any prior preparations, the odds are against it.

Also, a common saying in the hobby, haste makes waste, has proven itself over and over again in the marine hobby, including seahorse keeping.

I have to say probably not a great idea. I would love to mix erectus and fuscus but the risk outweighs the reward IMO. It's a personal choice but just know and be aware of the risk.
