mixing clown question

ive seen that mixing diff. clowns is a bad idea, but is this always the case? i have a pair of clarkiis in one tank and 1 small perc in another- i was hoping to put them into a 90G, but want to first make sure its ok. or does this only work in large 300G+ systems? thanks!

If I was a gambling man, I would bet that the established clarkii pair would distroy the poor little perc, if placed into their territory. Sounds like a bad move to me.

Going to agree with Elegance on this one, have a very strong feeling that the Clarkii pair would have their way with the percs.

A while ago I have a 3 stripe damsel in my 75 with a Clarkii pair, it was only allowed to be in one corner of the tank, if it strayed out of that area both Clarkiis would go after it. And a 3 striped doesn't look that much like another clown, but close enough for them.
