mixing clowns

I am considering breaking down my 55 gallon reef and setting up a 180 gallon predator tank. I have a pair of mated clowns that I would like to put in my in-laws tanks, the question I have is: will my false percs get along with their existing true perc? I was told that my pair would beat on their perc. thanks tommy

How big is your In-laws tank?

But without knowing that, I would say that there is a very good chance of having a battle.

my in-laws tank is a 55, my boss has a 125 at work, with one false perc, so maybe that would be a better option.

It really depends if the 2 clowns are female or not. I am guessing they both are. let us know how big the new tank will be.

true percs are more agressive also are they not. I would think even more so since it would be it's home tank.

I had another idea to propose. I have 2 spare 29 gallon tanks lying around and one place for one. My 55 has two clowns, one cleaner goby, one lawnmover blenny, one damsel ( that won't be transferred to the 29), a serpent star, a emerald crab, snails etc. My corals are one huge toadstool, a couple of small leather corals, one trumpet, one large frogspawn, some mushrooms and polyps. Will this work in a 29 gallon? I have spare skimmers, heaters powerheads etc. I also have about 60 LR from the 55. Any ideas? thanks tommy
I do not want to overload the 29, but I think that with all my rock a reef in a 29 would look good.
