Mixing different chromis species?

I want to add a few more small fish to my tank. I have one blue/green chromis and I was looking at the different types of chromis on LA. I like the lemon chromis, blue reef chromis, and black & white chromis. Anybody know if there would be a problem adding one (or more) of these with my blue/green chromis? Also wondering the same thing about mixing different cardinals.

Did you add each group to your tank at different times?

I would like to keep singles of different colors...I have just one blue/green, and want to add one black/white and one of the dark blue. The lemons are classified "semi-aggressive" so maybe skip that one.

I'm not sure about adding another cardinal, because my bengaii cardinal is a bully sometimes. My last addition was a chalk bass and he chased him around for several days.

I'm curious about this as well. I'd like to get a Blackaxil and a Blue Reef Chromis. I would introduce them at the same time. Need a peaceful, reef-safe, blue fish (i.e. not a damsel) to balance out all the orange and yellow fish on my list.

I haven't heard many people on forums talking about chromis other than the blue/green chromis, and haven't noticed any in anyone's pictures. So maybe there are few who would know this besides jarrodsanborn. But he has them in groups and I want to try singles. Guess I may try and see what happens.

Be careful, a lot of fish that are commonly called "Chromis" are really just damsels without the general peacefulness of regular blue/green chromis.

On LA they classify them as "peaceful" whereas the damsels are mostly classified as "aggressive". But I know sometimes they can be wrong, like for example the royal gramma is listed as "peaceful" but mine is very territorial and I would think "semi-aggressive" is a better description.
