Mixing dwarf angels

I was curious to know if anyone has attempted to mix 2 dwarf angels in a 40 gallon before? I know most say you need at least 100 gallons yet I read that dwarf angel breeders keep pairs in 40-55 gallon tanks. Could a cherub angel and a midnight angel be compatible?

A long long long time ago when I had a 40g I had a flame, cherub, singapore and bicolor together.

Cherubs are pretty easy going and independent little fish. I have had them many times over the years and they have always been great additions to the tank.

Larger tank, maybe if introduced at same time.I wouldn't try it in a 40.Pick your favorite and go with that.

I have had 2 cherubs, I have one right now and both have the same aggresive attitude, I added a butterfly twice the size and it goes after it, The first cherub went after a BPT that I added after and it was at least 3-4 times the size.

I had 2 flame , lemonpeel and bicolor on 39 gallon cad lights for a year without issues until I sold it.

The Trick is introduce all of them at the very same time so no stablish dominant angel for a while.

I don't say go for it but to me if you have a lot the likelihood of being bullied are less.

Yeah, cherubs are pretty much the sixlines of the angel world.
