mixing kalk

Is it necessary, or will it hurt to put a powerhead in my ATO container to mix kalk/vineagar solution?

I just do this temporarily to mix it, then I take it out and let it settle overnight before using the mixture. Just wondering if I am wasting my time by doing this?

With mine i just let it mix while I dump water in it, give a quick swirl with a stick and let it settle overnight. Works good for me
