mixing salts

Is there any issues with using two salt mixes in the same batch of water? I have. A partial water change of tropic Marin and the same of oceanic and would like to get them used up so can I mix them together?

As for Tropic Marin and Oceanic... it's all good. You might want to test the final results of mixing two brands of artificial saltmix.

i know i have had SEVERAL experienced people tell me that mixing brands of salt is not entirely a great idea. And all salt is not the same. If you are going to change from one brand to another, it's a good idea to do so gradually. Thank you, Gary for clarifying.
