Mixing Tangs

I have a tomini and a kole in my 180. They haven't been together very long but are both on the 'almost full grown' side and are leaving each other alone so far.

Previously I had a yellow and a kole together in this same tank for several years. The kole would periodically pick a fight with the yellow but it was always the kole who ended up scratched up. It never lasted more than a brief scuffle.

Do you know how large an Atlantic Blue gets?
It gets huge. Saw a monster size at Shedd Aquarium last year.

In my 250g I have a Purple, Powder Blue, Kole, Naso, Sailfin and a Hippo. All are 5-6 inches and get along well. They are all between 2-3 years old. They all swim as a group except the Kole. He's a loner.

I tried adding a Blonde Naso to a tank that housed a yellow for years. The yellow tang went nuts and I was eventually forced to remove the Naso.

so quiet a few people keeping multiple tangs. Anyone have long term success with them as adults as well?

While I don't know at what age a tang is considered an adult, my 6 tangs have been together for almost 3 years and they were roughly 2-3 inches in size when purchased. I guess they are adults? (I have a purple, Sailfin, powder blue, Naso, Kole, and a hippo). They get along great.

I've had some of my tangs ~10 yrs, but they have only all been together in my 450g tank for ~6 yrs
