******mj Mod Bulk Order!!!!!!!!!!

sweet, i will ckeck with marcye on that one...lol thank you.....HEY GUYS!!!!!! I WILL CHECK WITH MARCYE< BUT MAYBE I CAN BUY A COUPLE EXTRA!!!!

You guys can get shafts and props at graves rc hobby shop on obt near lee/johnyoung rd. they have at least 50+ different prop sizes. on my version, I used a 8" long shaft, with the smaller prop, and no RESTRICTING shroud. I put the prop on backwards, they have a high eff concave (really convexed) design that takes less resistance to start in reverse. my fish are smart enough to stay out of the prop (give them some credit) and with the longer exposed shaft and smaller higher pitched prop you get better efficiencys (especially on ac) the long shaft will also tell you if you have an imbalance (like the noise wouldn't) I tried 4 sizes of prop before I settled (If your unsure use an amp meter) I recently made a number of changes to my tank so I wont say for sure but.. the extra current does seem to promote pollyop extention=more growth:D (hopefully)

ok, so you modded MJ's? that is what you said? but for how much? i mean, like, how much did you pay for the four shafts and propellors? Can you give us some pointers on how to di ti all, i am all for self-modding....lol

props are about 3-4 dollars for the 2 pack, and the shaft is about 5 but it comes in 4' pieces. all you need ai a drill and sand paper. graves has the ca too. cut your shaft, attact to drill loosely and use the sand paper to turn it down a small amount so the magnet fits through it . glue it on. take the original shaft and use it as a drill bit thriugh the front shaft support, put your new shaft and mag through and assemble. now you should have 4" or so of shaft to glue the prop to. if you get a prop with a large hole them you can use the small air line adaptors that came with your mj and drill the inner hole to fit the shaft. the adapt have three steps...the second fills the prop hole perfectly. all you have to do is glue. I would go with the purple two pack of props. these are what i ended up with. I cant remember the size though. just be careful you dont pick up another expensive hobby like me:D

P.S.

If you go in there on sat, find the guy Earl that works there and tell him I said he was a butthole... Thank you

one more thing I ve never read the actual mod so i dont know if they do this but you should cut the paddles off the magnet to reduce the amount of resistance on the motor. this will help the motor start in the right direction 95% of the time. (mine swithces on/off every 30 sec)

ok, will do...hahaha, hey, if i get these parts, i am a very visual person,i will ahve to read that over a billion times and still wont completely get it, i am sure that alot of people would be interested in learning how to do this, would you by any chance be interested in giving a seminar at an ORCA meeting one month? or just show me? yoiur choice...lol

just bring the original ss shaft with you os you get the right size carbon fiber rod. they have a digital cali[er
