MJ Mod Kits??

I'd say don't do it Joe....I think they are a good cheap temporary fix, but in the long run, I don't think you'll be happy and want to trade 'em in.

But....I did like some of the videos I was able to link to from that site! Check some of 'em out.

Cant add from any experience with them, only that others have posted that the flow is fairly narrow.

The flow on mine is very wide, I would agree with this statement for a regular maxi jet but not the mod.

Mine makes no more noise than the regular maxi jet, it has been running for a three weeks in the curing set up I have. I would base my descision on your amount of extra money, extra time, and diy ability. I am happy so far with the one I made, and will make more.

Joe,

I have modified my own for several months now and have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. The output is very wide, and, with a swirl attachment, two of them easily supply my whole 75g tank.
I don't think you wold trade them in the future, unless they wear out, in which case a replacement after several years would be, what, 16 bucks?

You all may want to consider doing them yourselves?

The only one I saw which came from a kit did not have a 'reverse' stop for the motor, so, if you order, I would ask them if the new kits do have it
