Have you seen the Isamu Noguchi tea cups and saucers? I always thought those were very cool. I have always wanted one of his tables as well. Very nice stuff.

oh yeah.. very phallic piece.. lol.

Wev'e been watching ebay with our eyes peeled for that noguchi table. Theres like tons of them. I'm about to do some work on the house to gear up for the new tank.

*so excited*

Yes indeed. Its there now and Im not really sure how I feel about holding them anymore.

Here's my attempt at aesthetic neatness; just set it up last week. I'm still working on the aquascaping and am very open to ideas.

 I'm a huge fan of Colombo's smoke glasses. We dont smoke, but they just look great.

Will thanks for the compliments. We have not completely finalized the aquascape, but I'll try and snap a FTS this weekend.

Yeah those are nice too. I have not seen them around for a while but I do remember them being very cool to hold...even though I do not smoke either.

this is just some temporary stuff.. The shelving needs to go up on the wall. The left side is where the new tank concept that I posted ealier is going to go. All those frames are going to come off the wall, the little cabinet will be relocated, and the current the fish tank will be moved into the closet maybe?.. What do you people think?

-Justin, any devolopments in your light?

-GB-Design, sweet can't wait for updates.. Your tank makes me want to set up a pedestal style stand now.

WZ,

just added some pics ;)

the recessed lip is a life saver. it gives plenty of space for your feet when walking to get behind the tank. speaking of pedestal tables, i've been itching to do a nelson table hack with an ADA cube tank and all plumbing down through the metal base  ...i am too scared to do it to ours, but hey i can dream right?

i think the tank to the left of the window will open the room up and alot. you need a nice floor lamp in there by the eames and book shelf :p

where's the noguchi going?

Maybe find a Nelson table knock off?

I'm thinkin like so

But now I'm playing with the idea of it being more of an "exhibit"

and I need to get my hands on the matching ottoman for the Eames lounge.

thanks.. the photos actually make the flooring look good, but they really need to be re-done.. I dread the idea of having to refinish them :(

I'm in downtown, not far from the aquarium..

WZ, my personal vote is for your first concept :) that second one is nice too, but IMO just begging for a bigger tank to fill the space hehehehe
