Alot of work yet as this is a fresh water(shhhh) but a sps reef will be next to this one!

Will,

The simplicity of the second one is more my style. I think one of the reasons I like it more is due to the varied heights on the back wall.

The horizontal lines from the book shelf to the window to the back drop on the second image flow together. In the first one the back drop is even with the window and seems "off", despite being even :p.

The ottoman will make a great pull up seat for viewing either tank.

Will, Personally I really, really like the second one. Although they are both unique, I find the second one a bit more appealing. I also love how simple it is. I think done in all white, it would create a beautiful exhibit/viewing area for the tank.

Both look great though :)

Marc,

I really like it. I would also love to know where all the "stuff" is??? Man I wish I could hide all my "stuff" that well. Im guessing through the legs? Or...behind the wall?

wow marc that is a really cool tank. something surreal about the angled front panel. I keep expecting the water to spill out or something :)

nitrox, your pics didn't show here, but I was able to see them when i copied the URL into a new window. VERY nice!! looks like a really clean setup.
*edit* i see u made them links instead. nevermind, carryon!

Yes absolutly, because apparently, you were the only one able to see 'em... Sorry :D

If someone can paste them into the topic or tell me how to do, I would appreciate ;)

Are you KIDDING me Marc?!?!... where's all the 'stuff'?
I don't remember seeing this one on your site, I gotta check it again... wow.

It is plumbed into my main reef. That way all this tank needed was a light fixture and nothing else. And I love that.

If you go to my site and click on My Tanks, you'll see the link to my build thread here on RC (in the left column). Or use the Search engine to find my thread in the Nano forum.

Heck, here you go:

-Justin, any devolopments in your light?

Just saw this now...No still nothing. We are working on a few other things in the room at the moment, so the tank is taking a back seat for a few weeks I think. Unless I happen to see something I can use. Like a decent priced Arco Floor lamp :) Anything that I can replace the socket for my 250watt MH one and also that has a "shade" or reflector long enough to conceal the huge bulb. Ikea really had nothing. I will post pics of our new look living room and tank soon though and see what you guys think. Its still very contemporary but there a few more modern elements now. We just ordered a really nice white corona chair and ottoman to finish the seating in the room off.

marc thats a great idea to have a small ancillary reef tank like that.

seriously considering doing a seahorse tank that way.
