Mohawk Paly care

I had a single polyp I got from Rommel that has multiplied into 8 or 10. But I have never been able to get the irridecent (?sp) look that he was able to in his photos.

Can anyone give me advice on lighting for these specifically?

I have a 120aga tank with a 48inch coralife 250watt Mh fixture with 14k phoenix bulbs.

Let me know any other info you need.

I have mine on the bottom under 14k's. IMO they don't need high light to achieve the bright speckling.

Same here... I have one colony at the bottom, the other is about 1/4 way up the tank... They still speckle nicely...

Mine seem to have some of the speckles but just not as noticible as I have seen before.

They seem darker than some of the pics I have seen before. Thats why I have been thinking I have them to low.

I may try to get some pics. But I dont have a macro lens and cant get close enough with my small digital camera.
