Ok swapped out gfo the other day and after 3 days the phosphates are finally down to .03 . IT did take a while to get it down with all the old rock. I tested my alk and its right on at 9. I am dosing almost double the calcium than I am alk though. I am sure this will even out as things grow and the tank matures. My biggest trouble is space. lol.

I see that your miracles tank i sback up for sale. I bet you are thinking abou it. I would at least.... Your 65 is really nice. But that miracles has an attractive price tag on it.
Love the build! I'm in the process of building up a 65g as well but it's my first attempt so sticking to the basics for now.
Can you elaborate on the LED strips you're using? I have VHO fixtures for now and don't want to do a complete retro just yet but would like to add a strip of LEDs if possible.
Also, what are you running your activated carbon through? I'm still new to the carbon idea and seen that people are running them in reactors. Is that what the canister is hanging off your sump?
