Mollies

Anyone looking to try some mollies. I have some fry. Born in marine tank. Just a little short of an inch. They are Lyre tailed Dalmation mollies/or Mixed breed. I think at this size they will eat anything.

Could be used for algae control or I believe they may eat flatworms too. Read some anecdotal info on this and all flatworms are gone from the breeder tank. Easy enough to remove them even from a large reef if they don't work out.

Or for feeders ( just don't tell my wife)

I have a dozen ready now and maybe 20-25 more will be ready to go in a few weeks. If there is no interest I will just bring them to the LFS.

Let me know.

Lonnie,

Some people swear they will eat hair algae. I think it is hit or miss. If they have nothing else to eat ( no feeding) then they may start to eat the algae.

Larry is waiting for my second batch of fry to grow a bit more. Sorry to say there was an incident in the fry tank. I had added some live rock from the sump of my display to aid in filtration. I wondered how half the fry disappeared in one day. Till I found a small anemone devouring one of them. Pulled the rock and the rest look good.

I'm still not positive, but they *might* actually be eating the FWs.

Clam is doing good, Ray.
Mollies probably not so good. I haven't seen even one of them for almost a week now.
