I have an Orange Ocellaris that has mated and been laying eggs with a B/W Ocellaris for the past 8 months or so. The unusual thing is that there is another B/W Ocellaris (smaller) that is allowed to help out and get near the eggs with the mom and dad. The past couple of days the mom has stopped eating and is acting "weird". She does not look like she is holding eggs right now so I am wondering if it is possible for another clown (dad) to become a female and mate with the third smaller clown. If so, what would this do to the existing female (mom)? Or would the dad clown kind of challenge the mom for dominance. Or has mom just gotten old (4-5 year with me) and breeding has taken its toll on her? Or am I just paranoid and she will start eating again? All other tankmates are doing very well, including some 23 wk old clowns underneath in my fuge. She looks healthy but is definetly not acting normal for her. Thanks
