Monti Bleaching Need Help

hi, my monti is bleaching need help
i have had this guy in the tank for 10 days now, plus i have other frags like chalice, zoos, blasto, torch, meteor shower every body else is doing good except the monti
light level wise chalice, some zoos, torch, meteor shower, and monti at same height in the tank
radion peak at 15% 20k to 12k than to 20k from 4pm to 10:30pm
tank parameters
PO4 0.01 Hanna
Ca 420 hanna
Alk 8.3 hanna
Mag 1400 red sea test
not dosing any thing
salt red sea pro
using gfo, carbon in a reactor
and have some pieces of Marinepure media in the sump
this is how it looked when i got it

Plus not sure were i am getting these white dots from
in the i only have 3 green chromis, and a cleaner shrimp

Are you referring to the white spot in the middle of the monti? The outter edge looks like
Growth rings to me

I had that same situation and the only 2 things that have changed in the tank was an Alk swing that i had from 9.1 to 10 due to more evaporation thru my ATO with Kalkwasser or turned on my Carbon/ GFO reactor.

Hope that helps to identify if yoy had something similar.

You think I should turn off my carbon or gfo To see if it helps

At least i turned mine off to identify which one was the culpirt... Give it a try . There is nothing to loose. Probablly a little algae will come up but it's just to be sure.

And if GFO is the culpirt will use less amount and lower flow the next time.

Honestly it looks fine. Looks like some local irritation, maybe a sting or something fell on it.

thanks, i was worried though may be due to my leds so i moved it little away from the light.

Everything in a reef tank wants to mess up your glass. Buy a scraper and carefully scrape. Do you have snails? Could be snail eggs but they come off fairly easily.

i know when i had clowns fishes they did there thing on the overflow box and on the back panel which created white dots but this time i am curious what is causing these white spots on the glass
