In the picture above, my Idaho Grape monti cap is being stung by my recently re-located RBTA. There's a couple spots that were left bare, and algae had moved in. I pull the BA off, but the one tuft of GHA is on there TIGHT.

The cap is encrusted onto the rock, so I can't move it easily. Would it be worth fragging off a piece of clean coral and relocating that incase the RBTA comes back around?

Your RBTA is going to move around until it finds a spot it likes, out of direct current and where it can put it's foot into a rock or something it can shrink into. Since you don't know where that it you might risk your Monti more by moving it.

The Monti will grow back over the burned spots. It may take a while but it will slowly encrust those areas. So unless it's really damaged and you think you're going to loose it it's probably best to just leave it alone.
