Monti eating nudibranch

Does a yellow wrasse or leopard wrasse go after nudibranches?
I saw a nudibranch on my spongodes this morning, just looked for it now and nowhere to find!!
Do have a yellow & leopard in DT now and ready to add a melanarus to my arsenal.

TIA...

I just added a yellow coris wrasse for (not truly a wrasse btw) monti eating nudis. Havent seen one in at least 2 weeks so I think he is the reason they are gone. Mine hunts the live rock and corals all day long and seems to be keeping pests in check. They are a pretty fiah as well.

I scrubbed when ever i saw them and got a yellow corris wrasse. Never saw them again and its been a couple years.

After weeks of scrubbing, scraping, dipping and finally tossing out many of my prized monti's, I added 3 yellow coris wrasses and have not seen a monti eating nud in almost two years. BTW, i didnt throw away all my monti's but the most effected was the spongodes.

Good luck with the battle!

Didnt know a yellow coris wrasse wasnt a wrasse, thought it wasnt a coris:) Ive seen them eat the nudis. Also 6 lines do a good job, probably the best imo. Still pull the montis, scrape the nudis off and glue the eggs. They can be harder to spot when out of water. They come out at night so it probably crawled back into a crevice when you checked later in the day and Im sure theres more than just one.

Seems to me, spongodes are a magnet for nudibraches.
This is the only monti i've seen the nudi in my reef and it is a ORA colony that I bought 10 mnds. ago
