Monti?

Hi all,
Bought this as a monti, had some doubt cast on it's id.

Polyps are around 1/8 in (3mm) in diameter.

Actually, I think my first answer may have been wrong. I thought the polyps were too large but I believe that it may be a Montastraea annularis. I just saw one not so long ago. Sorry for the first comment, I was distracted by work phone going off.

Thanks,
The polyps don't quite seem to match a montastrea from the pictures I've found.
Here's a closer up pic

And under blues

The closest I can find image wise is a green polyp purple montipora.

Thanks for taking the time to help out, it bugs me when things are not correctly identified (or even not identified at all) in the store. I'm still pretty new to reefing and try to sharpen my id skills.

Montastrea annularis a highly protected species from the Atlantic. Don't really exist in the hobby, also M. annularis has larger, more prominent raised corallites.

I would agree with tubinaria mesenterina.

Reef Farmers Montipora venosa (Pink Sandollar) appears to be an exact match.

M. venosa doesnt have as exsert corallites like OP's coral.

Notice how they are almost crater like? where as OP's corals corallites are slightly raised and pocketed ?

Pretty certain its Tubinaria mesenterina, could also be reninformis I have a difficult time telling those two apart.

Cheers all,
I spoke to the guy at the lfs who actually ordered the frags in. It was definitely turbinaria but he couldn't remember which species without going back through his records.
