Sorry if I missed this ... but is the "Pokerstar" the same as a rainbow? I recently aquired a BEAUTIFUL frag from SPStoner, solid purple body, green polyps, but the leading edge 2-3 rows of polyps are bright orange. Looks like some rainbows I've seen. I could care less what its called, I love it - just wondering if they're the same.

Pokerstar is supposed to be a grapish purple with geen polyps. Never heard of a different color rim polyps on that one. Sounds like you got a rainbow but lets see a shot of it. Could be wrong.

I am going to sound like a dip____ but what is tyree? I assume it is a person. I see this everywhere, well at least where there is sweet corals anyways.

Steve Tyree is a household name in the coral industry and has been since 1993. He has written books and is known for his farming of stony corals. He also has many limited edition corals that can be purchased, however, usually the waiting is a few years to get a frag of one of his corals.
