Montipora monasteriata ?

Attached are two shots of a Monti I've had for a while. One is a frag kept under T5 lighting, while the mother colony is under HQI 14000 plus actinic. The difference is interesting! I had first thought this was M. undata, but believe it to be M. monasteriata. As the two tanks feed into each other, the only difference is lighting.

The mother colony is about 25cm/10" across, while the frag is 5cm/2".

Any comments?

Hmmmmmmm,i will need a piece of both for further inspection,& research.

Wish I could send you some. Without CITES, they would never let it through. It grows like wild. The mother colony is only 6 months old and was smaller than the frag when I got it. It used to be brown, of course, and has coloured-up nicely.
