Moon lights on Aquacontroller

On the 2x16 displays it is MON, and on the larger 4x20 displays it is MOON.

So if the program says:

If MON 000/000
then Mon[] ON

It will work ok??

Yes it is correct, the timing schedule and intensity of the light will vary accordingly to the moon phase.

So why is the lights on during the day and if I can see the moon at 9pm why is it not on?

ugh, I had to give up my quest for trying to make the moonlight cycle, the ACII and a TEK T5 hood all work in tandem. I tried using rope lights.

1. they weren't bright enough
2. Heck of a time trying to mount them on the hood

I think I have to go in the way of LED and just the use the ACII for on/off timer or use a third party LED dimmer. Smaller to work with and easier to try to figure out how to get them on the Tek.

Curt, any future plans that the Aquacontrollers x will be able to dim LEDs ?

just let the aquacontroller do itÃ"šÃ‚´s job, and after some days you will see how the lights turn on/off in a different hour everyday and with different intensity.

I upgraded from rope lighting to cold cathod that I took out of my computer. The cold cathod dims very well and is not as bright as the rope lighting. Then again I did have 12 feet of rope lighting hanging out if my tank.
