More fish or stop?

My 125 has a yellow tang, foxface, 2 clowns, and a mandarin. Is this a good list or do you think another species would make a good addition? Any ideas?

Thanks.

I think one or two small fish would work. Perhaps fairy or flasher wrasses? If you have sand, a shrimp/goby pair is fun.

Others that might work well and won't put pressure on the bioload:
- Clown goby
- Talbot's damsel (1.5" max, peaceful)
- Midas blenny
- Most fairy wrasses (make sure your top has small holes, they jump)
- Shrimp goby w/ pistol shrimp
- Brazillian or royal gramma, or a blackcap basslet
- Cardinal fish

I'd avoid dottybacks and lined or leopard wrasses because they'll compete with the mandarin for pods. An algae-eating blenny might be fun, but only if there's enough algae for him to graze.

Pair of anthias. Lyretail are beautiful and hardy.

Most wrasses will hunt pods and could hurt your mandarin's food supply.

I always thought the tank would look cool with what I have now and maybe 2 anthias and 3 chromis for a lot of small fish that fish a lot to make some action in the tank. I don't know how well the 2 larger fish would appreciate having to push them out of the way all the time though.

Lyretails may be a good idea. Royal Gramma was one of my first fish in old tank. Died of ich unfortunately.

Trying to think of what would look cool in there..
What do you think about these (pick some out of this list for me then :) )

3 green chromis
2 lyretail anthias
royal gramma
starry blenny
pygmy angelfish (dwarf)
Would like to put in a juv. regal tang, but I do not like their ich magnet ability
Also really like the chocolate mimic tangs, but I don't think it would be that smart to put another tang in the tank to make 3 larger fish and 2 tangs, or would it be ok?

a small angel (centropygue or geniacanthus) will be fine addition to your tank ... anthias are also ok ,but check your skimmer as heavy feeding is necessary for them...

I feed my anthias once a day with the rest of the tank. Heavy feeding is required at first, but best do that in your QT tank.

A healthy regal will not be an ich magnet. Once they get eating and used to captivity, then they are very hardy fish. This is a good fish to get eating really well in QT/isolation before adding it to your tank.

I imagine that you know the risks with dwarf angels and coral nipping/eating?

Yea, I know the risks. Really I would like another tang of some sort if its at all possible? The blue would probably get along with the yellow and not harrase the mag. foxface. I had a powder brown that ate everything. Unfortunately lost him in an ammonia spike due to overfeeding (I had bartletts anthias and must've fed too much). The downside was that my yellow tang felt he needed to be the dominant fish and they quarreled a bit, but every time the yellow ended up leaving the caves first. In the day it was great, but at night, the powder brown would chase down the foxface and hunt for him to slap him around. Amazing fish, but I wouldn't want to try another one until I upgrade tanks.

Anyone have any ideas on a baby regal (1" or so) or mimic tang? I would put 2 wrasse in there but my tank is open.

The swallowtail angel wouldn't be bad either, but I like the energy and personality tangs have.

I almost brought home a 3" powder blue not too long ago. It was new in the LFS and he ate like crazy and swam a LOT. The downside was that the guy said these fish normally go out the door so fast... he had been there all day. Only thing I noticed wrong was he was itching on a rock, but not much. I didn't take him.
