There are variables, specifically what other fish you want to keep with them. Any of them can be pushy. IMO the top three on this list in terms of aggression would be the passer, queen and french.

Passer, the one I had bullied every other fish, angel, tang damsel, didn't matter. I gave him to my brother with the same sized purple tang who was overly aggressive towards every fish and the passer nearly killed him. He's a brute, hands down most aggressive fish I've ever seen.

my blue angel is by far the most aggressive angel i've ever had. in some ways, he's more aggressive than my old queen trigger (but thankfully does not have the teeth to follow through like the queen did). this angel chases anything, and recently picked on my regal so much that i had to move the regal to my sump to keep him alive.

i used to keep a 8" passer that bullied a 14" queen trigger
that thing was the meanest fish Ive ever owned

korans and queens can be kind of mean also

Passer angel by far. My LFS has had the same one in a 90 gallon tank by himself because he has tried to kill every other tank mate. These included Sohal tangs, triggers, groupers and one 14" golden puffer.

Beautiful but mean.

The only thing I will say about large angels is if you get them when they are really small (2-3") you have a much better chance of getting these guys to be cordial with each other.

Would hardiness directly correlate with the angelfish's aggression levels ? Kings are mean as well as tough. Majestics are shy .. and flimsy.

Passer....When I lived in S. Carolina, there was a store that had a DT that had a 8 or so inch Clown Trigger and same size Passer, the Passer was the boss without a doubt.

I can only tell you the least aggressive of the large angels......In my opinion the Majestic, which I have not found to be fragile like another poster said, Goldflake, Scribbled, Regal, are on the lower end of the aggression scale. I have had all of these. The Goldflakes seem to be very non-aggressive although it does not mean that any of these fish will not defend themselves with another more aggressive fish. I have not had, but have read that the Blueface and the Emperors are moderately aggressive. My angelfish book says the Queen, Ansfer, Blue (not Blue face), and French, and Passer angels tend to be very aggressive. Were you looking for an aggressive angel? Why? The aggressive ones listed need at least 300 gallon tanks when full grown as they get to 18 inches plus. The smaller of the large angels....the Majestic, Regal, Goldflake, Scribbled, can be kept in a 200 gallon. Lesley
