not as nice as some others but I paid 300 bucks in Dec for my wifes birthday coral,she wanted this one..she got it..Randy wasen't crazy about selling it,but it has a very nice place in the display to spread out..About 12" across or more some nights ..

My buddy Kien paid $4500 for a mini colony of the Convict chalice

He also has the Dynamite and i gotta say it pretty bright.

Wasn't the mother colony of convict stolen in the big heist at ARC?

i bought an single head Acan today for $100! Most i've ever paid!!!! I've bought my Dragon soul favia colony and war coral colonys for a pretty penny but never that much for 1 head...untill now.

And all that talk about Kein, i believe thats who they said they got this Acan from(at ARC where i bought it)
Ill post a pic tomorrow.
If anyone knows him after i post my pic id like to see what the "name" is...if it has one. Never seen an Acan like this before!!! So even if it is a no name, i love it!! I guess for $100 I better!!

Post a pic...I have a couple of nice ones from ARC. They have some great Acans sometimes! That is what keeps me going back....LOL

I talked to Kien and he said to post a picture and he will try to help identify the acan. Kien has some of the craziest acans around. He a huge LPS collector.

I bought a half inch crumb of kenya tree for $2 about 6 yrs ago. I have a tank full of it now and have traded and sold a couple of hundred dollars worth . My first coral was a xenia, my son bought a small piece ,one stalk, for $20 about 8yrs ago. I've traded and sold colonies of the stuff and still have some nice colonies.

I think the most I've ever spent on a single coral was around $250 for an enchinophylia.

I think I'd win. I can't think of any single coral I've spent more than $100 on.

sorry for the delay, here is a pic of my acan, hard to get a good pic of it. It is greenish yellow, kinda of the color of the kriponite candy cane. It is a huge polyp, about the size of a half dollar maybe a hair smaller.

When I started in the URS in 2002, I paid $60 for a frag of pulsing xenia from GARF, and I paid $75 for 6 YES SIX heads of Todd's Torch that I got from a guy who got it from Todd. I lost it two years ago. Last year I bought back ONE head from Kein for the same $75. He got it from Brent who I sold it to in the first place. ;-)

Funny how the world turns...

The most I paid for a coral was $250 for the famous bleeding apple. Still have it today.
