Most expensive frag ever!!!

haha. Yeah they did say it was a joke price but still thats pretty good. Somebody should add it to their cart

Just kidding on the price, the point is that this is an ultra rare coral that we are not selling at this time, but you never know---make us an offer.

is it purple or is it just the lighting? hmm

I've seen a ultra rare scoly - i offered 600 for the piece and after 6 months of harping the lfs owner for it he sold it to me =) then I had to move to tx so i had another lfs hold my corals so I could fly back and pick them up... well, it "dissapeared" =/

oh man, that would suck if someone my $600 coral simply "dissapeared". thats a lot of dough. what did the LFS do about it?

the LFS gave me $200 =( I have a feeling one of their employees stole it - he kept looking at it. It was orange/green... but not your typical neon green or orange. The orange actually glowed under normal lights and the green was incondescent glowing and army green if that makes sense. I've seen orange/green scoly's but none like this one.

Here's a link to an acan similar to the one in the original post for $25 polyp =P

That is one of the most boring Acans I have seen.

I just do not get acans in general, especially that one. Nothing special at all.

I'm not a big fan of SPS either, they are just expensive twigs to me. Acans really don't do it for me either. I like movement, corals moving with the flow, like softies and LPS, not to mention the easy of keeping them and mostly cheap prices.

lol @ turning this into an anti-SPS thread. Must be my fake profile.

Anyways, I like it all and some of my biggest colonies are LPS. My favorite is probably zoas.

I just don't get these ultra expensive acans that are no more interesting or colorful (and sometimes less liek this one) than a common brain. JMO

It was just a joke folks--a few of you that bothered to read saw that.

I guess I assumed folks had a sense of humor in this hobby, but some unfortunate individuals have sent me some nasty emails.

Anyway, it is a unique coral and I just wanted to share it, on our web site the way it is set up we have to enter a price for the pic to show so I thought to make it a joke, too bad a couple of fools felt the need to email me profanity about something that was so innocent.
