Motor Assembly Problem

Tonight when I got home one of my Vortech's was making a clicking sound. I checked the rear of the motor assembly under the pin spacer and observed that all the black paint covering it had just pealed off in pieces. I have never gotten it wet and the magnet is not rusty. What would cause this? Is this going to be a problem?

Please email us at service@ecotechmarine.com with a description of your problem, your pump's serial number, and ideally a picture of the problem so that we can help you out. Also, please check to see if any of the pins on the spacer are bent as it sounds like this could have been the problem.

It doesnt look like the pin spacers are bent. I will work on the picture and contact service.
