I miss her. Four wheels for me now-a-days too. Family is more important than a near-death thrill.

I definitely agree with Todd on the riding gear. I'm not one to point fingers or look down on people for things they do, but there sure are some idiots out there when it comes to riding motorcycles. One of my good friends i ride with always wore shorts a lot when riding "because it's hot out." My response to him was always "it may be hot out now, but if you go down that road burn is going to feel a hell of a lot hotter in shorts than it will in jeans!" You never know when an accident can happen, no matter what sport your in, so i've always been the type to be more prepared than not prepared enough.

Now he wears jeans...not because of what i've said to him, but because someone called him out for looking goofy wearing shorts haha!

I really miss riding. Sold the bike when I got married a couple years ago. Preferred riding on the track to riding the street.

I raced one of these in Canada at a Dakar type ralley. 100hp 950cc v twin. 400+ lbs. Picture a crotch rocket with dirtbike tires and suspension. I had a smile all day long riding that thing.

I'd like to mention, for completeness sake, like many of you, I started out in he dirt. KX 125, KDX 200, CR 250.

My Dad had a Suzuki Bandit 600 while I was growing up. I got my first taste when he took me to a empty parking lot and let me coast around in 1st on his bike, and from that point on I knew I had to have one. Graduated college this year, got a job, and could finally afford to feed my new obsession.


Quick side question. . .How do you guys get your pictures to upload so large?
