Moulted skeleton - Should I take out of tank?

My cleaner shrimp moulted last night and his old exoskeleton is sitting on the floor of my tank. Nobody seems to care its there. The snails and hermits have ignored it all morning.

I don't see what, if anything, it brings to the table.
Should I take it out?

Thanks

Yes., Before molting the shrimp re-absorbed as much as possible of the minerals & other substances incorporated in the exoskeleton. What's left is nothing more than chitin - similar to your fingernails and with just about as much nutritive value.

If the hermits have not ate it and you can reach it, then take it out. If not, it is probably not a big deal.
