Mounting Hardware

Just got a Stream 6000 and I kind of got it attached to my tank with the mounting hardware that is included. I wanted to know if there is a kit for AGA tanks.

Thanks

By the way it is running full power without disturbing a 5" DSB

:D

That looks pretty good I think combination C would be the best one.

One more question

I would like to add the photo cell control, do I need anything else to attach it to a Stream 6000

Thanks

The photocell connects to a single or multicontroller. If you have the single controller you only need the photocell. If you are getting the multicontroller it is included. Kit 3000.244 would work the same for All Glass as for Oceanic. It is referred to as for Oceanic because Oceanic was very helpful and cooperative when I informed Tunze that the holder didn't fit most US tanks very well and donated trim samples and diagrams explaining US trim design. In Germany tanks are trimless or have removable trim that just clips on so the trim isn't an obsticle. Anyway, it fits all plastic trimmed tanks in a similar manner.

Reefm@ster: FWIW, I have a Turbelle powerhead, with the mounting kit you asked about. I also have a hood, and I haven't been able to use configuration "B" due to the fact that the mount sticks out on the outside of the trim (AGA tank). I also don't think there's enough of a lip to use configuration "C", so I'm kinda stumped. Had planned to take the dremel to the mounting hardware and/or the hood this weekend and see if I can't make it fit. Of course, I have to know exactly where I want it before I start cutting. I might have to mount on the back of the tank if it comes to that.

Puzzled- you just need kit 3000.244. The long screws go over the plastic trim and the little suction cups acts as a spacer at the bottom of the rail to keep it level. With all this talk about A,B,C I am thinking perhaps you have the wrong kit- 3000.26 which is for Acrylic tanks or perimeter braced glass.

Your finished product should look like this- this is with a 7400/2- included hardware modified by kit 3000.244

Tennsquire- sorry I missed the part about the hood. Why not just screw a hook into the inside of the hood that you can hang the rail from?
