Move the Sebae?

First off ... thank you for looking at my post.

Got a h. Crispa sebae about a month ago (judging from other threads). It never has seemed to attach. It's on the crushed coral substrate surrounded by a couple rocks. A couple times I noticed it was upside down so I used the rocks to shield some current while it attached. The past 2-3 days the mouth has been gaping and it doesn't look as extended. It was bleached white when I bought it but has gained a fair amount of color back. I feed it half a silverside twice a week but havent fed since the gaping.

Tank is about 6 months old although I have had the liverock wet for about 3 years (boiled in a garbage can for about 5 months in between tanks)
main params (ammonia to CA) are in normal range.
Magnesium is too high. Around 1750? It was off the chart. It seems I made the ATO mix too strong.

I got the clowns at the same time as the anenome (Possibly should have waited till the anenome established). They love it, sleep in it at night, rub in it most of the day. Since the sebae is not attached would anyone recommend moving it to the other side of the tank. The clowns don't go over there much so it might give the anenome some peace for a while? I could also put the clowns in my 40g sump. I've never put anything in the sump besides snails. Doesnt seem like a very hospitable place. Fuge light is on 16 hours. Would a fish go over the baffels?

I will try to post pics tomorrow. Hotmail is down and it's bed time.

Mag is only 1650. not 1750. It just went off the chart which reads up to 1600.

The anem is worse today. did another water change. Move the clowns to the sump maybe?

Moved both. Put Sebae up along glass on the other side. I figured the glass might be better for it to grab onto. The clowns instantly found it so I moved the clowns as well.

It seems like my check vavle failed as well and leaked about 5 gallons of water on the floor when I turned my pump off. So did another unexpected water change.

RIP Sebae

Saw another post where a user had a sebae die and also had MG 1650 range. More than likely I failed in that I got the clowns at the same time and they truely did love it to death. It never did attach so maybe foot was damaged and clowns made the problem worse by stressing it. Ugh.
