moving a zoa polyp

We have a zoa polyp that showed up in a place we would rather not have it. Is there a way to move it without killing it or breaking the rock it attached to?
Thanks

You would need to scrape it off the rock very carefully or better yet chip off the rock where it's attached to.

You’re asking a lot there. use an exacto knife is your best bet but you need to be careful with it. But like marioensf said about chipping the rock will have a higher rate of success. Good luck

yikes..., even though i don't really want zoas that close to my leather, looks like it's gonna stay.
i definitely don't want to risk killing the little guy and i'm going to let hubby chose whether or not he wants to chip the rock.

thanks for your help!!

as long as your leather doesn't get freaked out by something the zoa should be fine there.
