At the end of last year i put together a 40 breeder to get back into the reef keeping hobby. I didn't know at the time a few months later I'd be moving and not have room for the tank. So, I'll be selling the 40 breeder. I've drilled the back for an external beananimal overflow and almost coast to coast overflow, as well as two returns. The overflow is the quietest I have ever seen!
I also put together a DIY led fixture with a 24"x5.75" heatsink. There are 24 blues (mostly royal blue with a few cool blues), 14 whites (mix of cool and nuetral whites), 4 deep red, 4 tourqois, and 8 true violet LEDs. The blues and whites have 80 degree optics. The blues, whites, and all others are dimmable individually with three dimmers. The only thing left to do with the fixture is wire two of the true violet LEDs in with the others (they're attached already) and mount the connector on the side of the heatsink. I was going to use a piece of 1" aluminum for that, which I have already.
Here's what's for sale:
40 breeder - $75.00
29 gallon sump - $20.00
LED fixture - $150.00
Protein skimmer - $75.00. (Off brand, but has been the best skimmer I have ever owned)
I'm also selling two freshwater planted tanks. One's a 29 gallon bowfront with a nice driftwood centerpiece a large needle leaf java fern and several anubias nana plants I haven't had time to tie down yet. This tank comes with compact flourescent lights, a canister filter, and stand. The other is a 20 long with some nice rocks and needle leaf java fern, anubias nana, and anubias nana petite. I have a cheap black t-8 light fixture over this tank, and a canister filter. There is no stand for this tank. Both tanks have a few different types of freshwater fish in them, but nothing fancy.
29 gallon - $100.00
20 gallon - $75.00
I also have a CO2 regulator, bubble counter, and 5# CO2 tank for sale.
Asking $50.00 for the three of these combined.
I'll get some pictures of everything up tomorrow.
