Moving and have to sell stuff

At the end of last year i put together a 40 breeder to get back into the reef keeping hobby. I didn't know at the time a few months later I'd be moving and not have room for the tank. So, I'll be selling the 40 breeder. I've drilled the back for an external beananimal overflow and almost coast to coast overflow, as well as two returns. The overflow is the quietest I have ever seen!

I also put together a DIY led fixture with a 24"x5.75" heatsink. There are 24 blues (mostly royal blue with a few cool blues), 14 whites (mix of cool and nuetral whites), 4 deep red, 4 tourqois, and 8 true violet LEDs. The blues and whites have 80 degree optics. The blues, whites, and all others are dimmable individually with three dimmers. The only thing left to do with the fixture is wire two of the true violet LEDs in with the others (they're attached already) and mount the connector on the side of the heatsink. I was going to use a piece of 1" aluminum for that, which I have already.

Here's what's for sale:

40 breeder - $75.00

29 gallon sump - $20.00

LED fixture - $150.00

Protein skimmer - $75.00. (Off brand, but has been the best skimmer I have ever owned)

I'm also selling two freshwater planted tanks. One's a 29 gallon bowfront with a nice driftwood centerpiece a large needle leaf java fern and several anubias nana plants I haven't had time to tie down yet. This tank comes with compact flourescent lights, a canister filter, and stand. The other is a 20 long with some nice rocks and needle leaf java fern, anubias nana, and anubias nana petite. I have a cheap black t-8 light fixture over this tank, and a canister filter. There is no stand for this tank. Both tanks have a few different types of freshwater fish in them, but nothing fancy.

29 gallon - $100.00

20 gallon - $75.00

I also have a CO2 regulator, bubble counter, and 5# CO2 tank for sale.
Asking $50.00 for the three of these combined.

I'll get some pictures of everything up tomorrow.

The sump and protein skimmer are pending sale today.

Here's a few photos of the LED lights. You can see in the last picture what I was talking about having to mount the hookups to the fixture. I am using RCA cables to send power from the project box to the fixture and have a four wire connector on both, I just haven't permanently hooked the connector to the fixture yet. Here's the photos:

Here's the project box that houses the LED drivers. It's got a fan on one side and a vent on the other. The switches on the bottom shut off the power to each color and the "pots" control the brightness.

I've also got two Bulk Reef Supply style media reactors for sale. One is clear and the other is not. They both have the insert where you would put the carbon or GFO. I'm asking $40.00 for both of these. Never been used.

There's also a 56 gallon column style tank that is drilled in the center for a 1 1/2 inch glass holes overflow (included) and on each side for returns. I don't have bulkheads or loc-line for the returns though. I'm gonna ask $50.00 for it.

If I find anything else that i can let go of, i'll post it. I'm gonna be setting up a nano tank in the new house, so i'm hanging on to powerheads, pumps, etc., until I find out what I'm setting up.

Here are a couple of pictures of the 40 breeder when it was first put together. It shows the front and back of the tank with the coast to coast overflow and the bean animal drains on back. This tank is whisper quiet!

Of course, the returns will have loc-line connectors on them, i just didn't have them on in the first picture.

I have a Resun MD-55 external return pump for sale also. The flow rate is 1142gph. It was only used for a few months when I had the 56 gallon up and running a couple years ago. Asking - $60.00

And a Via-Aqua media reactor, without pump - $15.00
