so thats the second time my anemone decided it didnt like its spot and packed up and moved
at first he was right in my left corner and then he moved a bit towards the left side and now hes back in the back

i moved my rocks around yesterday and he seems to like this one rock that was by him but i moved away yesterday
hes rigth next to it again

i just got a hippo tang the other day and him and my clown seem to like each other
the hippo will come by the anemone and swim over and the clown will come out and they swim around together

the tang kicked my jawfish out of their rock and i found one this morning at feeding...the other must be somewhere

ill post pictures as soon as i can find my usb cable to transfer them

yep my anenome did the same thing moved around and etc. got under a rock and died.

thats when i decided i was getting a long tentactle plate coral they look just like a anenome and they dont move LOL

hey hugh, sounds like you got that tank running pretty good. what kind of anemone is it? bubble tips i know move all over.

My RBTA's never stop moving. The mother has moved numerous times over the 8+ months I've had it. The babies moved a lot until they found their spot and now stay in two different places. Nothing you can do except let nature takes its course.

mine likes to move around also. I move the rock he is attached to sometimes but a couple days later he moves again. I think BTA's have little wheels under their foot. :)

I have a LTA and it found it's happy place in the sand and really doesn't move at all. When I put the two Cinnamon clowns in the tank, they swam into their anemone so fast, it was comical. Now one is always in the LTA and the other moves in and out... except at feeding time, when the fish will venture out to get food... then back to their "home".... a great joy to watch.

brian: its a LTA with one percula clown living in it hopefully ill get another soon so they will pair

ill post pictures soon

yea i bought my clown paried with his anemone
he loves it
hes always bouncing on it
he comes out to eat and sometimes swims with my tang
but most of the time hes just chillin out in his home

i read somewhere online about anemones splitting
are LTA common in doing that?
i had read about BTA doing it and wasnt sure
mine hasnt and i dont see any indication that he will
just curious

How much do you feed you anemone, how often and any other suggestions for overall healthy care would be appreciated.

Diane
