moving anemone ?

I have a pretty decent size green carpet who made its home right in the front of my tank in the sand it has been there awhile now ive had it for 2-3 years now, but the more i look at it the more i wish it would move, is there a way i can move it or is it just happy there and i should leave it alone (it used to sit on a piece of rock that i could move)

You can slowly loosen or peel the pedal disc until it lets go and then relocate it. I use my thumbnail and just slowly slide it under the base, working it side to side to work it loose. Take your time.

Of course you can get it to let go by peeling / ice etc. Don't forget through Anemone's are motile and will move where THEY want to be not where you want them... If you put it somewhere else and its conditions are met it may stay for you. I've had success with my blue Haddoni staying where I want it.
