Moving anemones

My bubble tip decided to break into three pieces, so yeah its got to move. how do you get them out of your tank?

ive had to move my anemone on various occasions and I just pick the rock out and put it in a 5 gallon bucket. if I were to try to remove it off the rock I imagine you could hang the rock just barely out of the water with part of the anemone in the water and it would choose to release itself and fall into the bucket... not sure how well that strat works but ive heard its more effective then using the ice cube on the foot or credit card to peel off the foot.

I think if you have the ability to remove the rock, Hodge is correct. I've also read pointing a power head at them works. Well after nearly a week of basically blasting one, it hasn't worked for me. It was recommended to put a little kalk paste as near their foot as possible, so I'm going to try that this weekend. I guess the point is to irritate it so it will move. Hope you have better luck than I have.

Rub an icecube around the base, but dont hold it in one spot

ice cube or just rub your finger around the foot. It might take some time though.
