Moving fish from one tank to another

I am setting up a new tank so I can redo the old tank. I have a PB Tang, 2 Clowns and 2 Cardinals along with an urchin and some snails. I matched the salinity, temp and pH from my old tank. The new tank is cycled. I will transfer the inverts first. Then I will transfer the fish two at a time I was going to do the Cardinals first, then the Clowns, then the Tang over a 2 week period to allow the tank to adjust to bio-load between fish additions and hopefully this order is good to prevent fighting between the fish in their new environment.

My plan is to just take them out of one tank and plop them into the other. Is there any real issue with this? Should I dip them first in fresh water? The old tank is infested with Aiptasia so my goal is to do this without introducing Aiptasia into the new tank. The Inverts I think will be the vehicle for Aiptasia babies if any. But I will watch very closely and eradicate it with AiptasiaX if I see it in the new tank but am hoping to not introduce it in the first place. What is the best method?

Also I have a lot of big healthy mushrooms that are on rock infested by Aiptasia. I don't know if there is any hope for that is there? I'd rather lose the Mushrooms then risk all that Aiptasia getting in the new tank. I was thinking to try an intermediary quarantine tank for that live rock that is shared by Aiptasia and Mushrooms and trying to kill the Aiptasia or remove the mushrooms from the shared rock. Not sure I have no experience at all fragging coral.

mushrooms are easy, get a chisel or flathead screw driver and a hammer, chip out the rock, leaving the shroom completely intact. Check the rock chip for any aptasia (not likely as the small portion of the rock would be hidden under the shroom)

glue or cement the rock frag into it's new tank location and celebrate!

It is possible to eradicate aiptasia with livestock but it takes time and patience. Add an appropriate number of berghia nudibranchs and let them work a while and get a pair of peppermint shrimp too.
