Moving fish from QT to DT

I believe my fishes are ready for their new home. I, also, believe that there is trace of copper in the QT. I used Cupramine for two weeks, then I did 25% of water change 3 times over one week period. So, there still some trace of copper in the water.

I wonder if this effect anything?

My plan is to net the fish and put them in a bucket full of DT water. Let them swim in the bucket for few minutes, then net them and transfer them to the DT. The QT is 1.024 and the DT is 1.025

Any tip or advice?

I've never really worried about it. Typically I just drain the QT down low and use a plastic container (not a net) to move the fish over. Depending upon the fish, I sometimes use a socialaization/acclimation box.

Draining down the QT is actually an important step for me. Some fish will jump when you try to catch them, and where my QT is a fish that jumps over the back is a goner because I cannot move the cabinet to reach it.

A normal acclimation with QT and DT should suffice. Just make sure to remove water from the acclimation container as the ration changes. Then scoop them out of the bucket and into the DT. This will minimize any copper getting into your DT and minimize the stress on the fish from going from QT water straight to DT water...

Why do I need to acclimate, if salinity and temp very close or same?

Good idea. I was moving a Firefish and Gramma to the DT, wile I was busy trying to net the Firefish the Gramma jumped out. He must have been on the floor for a few minutes before I noticed.

You can feel free to just drop him in, but there may be a change in some of the other water parameters that may shock the fish. Last thing you want is a fish recovering from a change in water parameters having to fend for itself in a tank of fish that hate the new guy...

Edit: I use my DT water in my QT when I have fish in QT. I've rushed an acclimation to my DT from QT before, and the fish struggled to swim as a result. All of the tangs were taking their turn on beating down this fish. I moved the new fish to the sump for a couple of hours so it could get accustomed to the DT tank water parameters, and when it was swimming well, and looked alert, I put him back in the DT. The tangs hated it, but it was at least able to swim away and avoid them until they accepted him...

Couple of years ago a flasher I had coaxed through 12 weeks of QT jumped behind the cabinet. It's a multiple 100 lb unit supporting multiple tanks and no way to move it in time. Always drain down the QT since.

I've never had this happen on a QT, but I have had fish jump on me while trying to catch them in temp tubs while upgrading tanks.

I moved the first patch last night. I drained the QT tank, moved the fishes to a bucket with QT water, dripped from the DT for about 10 min just to be in the safe side, dipped them in DT water, then off to the DT.

They were grumpy and confused, but each one find a home already. The Starry Bleny looked incredible. In the QT, he was brown with faded white and black dots. In the DT he changed to dark grey or black with striking white dots and strikes. Like a completely different fish. The Goby still grumpy and confused.

I noticed that the Flasher Wrasses shacked his buddy, and stuff like sand fall off of him. He did this twice in like 30 min. I thought we was pooping, but it was not.

Any idea?
