MOVING must sell my tank

I need to sell my tank, as I am going to be moving.

I have never seen anyone have good luck selling everything together, so my plan is to first sell all of the live stuff, then worry about the dry goods.

I have a bit of an algae problem right now, so the plan is to sell things very cheap, and the more you buy, the cheaper the price.

I will post some pictures of the corals soon, once I can get some decent pictures.

The dry goods include:

1) Prime 1/15HP chiller - $190
Used for 3 years, works perfectly.

2) VorTech MP20 - $150
Used for 3 years, works perfectly, recently replaced parts drive shaft.

3) Aquacontroller III - $350
2xDC-8
pH, orp, and Temp probes
Moon Lights
IO break out box

4) Sump that fits inside biocube 29 stand - $50

5) Vertex IN-180 with pump - $50

6) Modded biocube 29 hood with HQI and 2x36w PCI from nanotuners - $100
The tank/hood have been "well loved" and look a little rough around the edges, but will sell for cheap once everything else is gone. Or if you want to make an offer for the whole thing, please feel free.

7) Three bulk reef supply - "drews" dosing pumps

Live Stuff, everything has been in my tank for over a year and is very healthy with the exception of some algae:

20 lbs live rock
Crocea clam, about 5" attached to large rock - $40
two large montipora - $20
large candy cane coral ~20 heads - $40
Three LPS colonies about 2-3' across - probably the nicest things I have - make me an offer after I get some pics up
Leather corals - $20
gorgonion about 10" - $20

Make me an offer on any of the dry goods, but the live stuff has to be sold first. I really don't know how much to ask for the dry goods, but make me an offer and we will come up with something very reasonable.

Thanks,
John

Pics of the live stuff coming soon . . .

I'll take the clam if HandofGod doesn't get it.

Oh, and how much do you want for the dosing pumps?

Thanks,
Kevin

I'll let you know about the clam.

For the dosing pumps, I have three of them with spare tubing. They go for about $90 each brand new. How does 45 each sound?

I'm interested in some of the corals. Would def like to see some pics! Would also love to see some pictures of the tank/sump if you could :D

Ok, an update . . .

HandOfGod made out pretty well today :bounce1:
They showed up and were willing to take the tank, stand, and all of the livestock, they also got a few extras for free . . .

I still have:

aquacontroller

chiller

sump

skimmer - possibly someone has spoken up for it

and I forgot to mention a top of the line RO/DI BRS unit willing to let it go for a reasonable price. Just make an offer.

The skimmer is the Vertex IN-80 version. I accidentally stated it was a larger version in an earlier post.

I also have two dosing pumps still available, they come with extra pump compression tubing.

As far at the RO/DI unit: $150
It is the Bulk Reef Supply 75 GPD RO/DI 5 Stage *PLUS* System, with the 150 GPD upgrade. It is still producing 0ppm from the DI canister and about 5 - 10 ppm out of the RO membrane. The prefilters are due for a change and the DI resin will need to be changed soon, and these can all be purchased rather cheaply from Bulk Reef Supply. I have used it for a small tank for about one year, and I no longer have a tank.

Thanks again for everything! We got everything into our other tanks and it all looks really really good. The monti caps(?) didn't even break on the drive home. Our blue knee hermits and snails have been mowing down the algae at a pretty good rate so far.

Glad to hear things are going well. Good luck with everything!!!

Skimmerdude, I think your PM inbox might be full. Call me at 412-467-6880 and we'll set something up. I extended my car rental so I can pick it up from you any time today, tomorrow, or Sunday.

Hi skimmer dude, I am interested in the chiller.

Does it come with a pump or tubing to run it with?

After 3 years of use does it show any signs of wear or odd noises?

Thanks for your time,
Justin
