Do you like Phil Collins?
With my first year of college complete I have decided to move a tank from my home in Charleston to Morgantown WV about 175 miles. In the process I have also decided to move from a 20l to a 29 gallon.

AGA self drilled 2- 2" bulkheads
1- SE 250 watt MH ARO ballast
2-65 watt power compact
1- custom black canopy
1 -custom black stand
coral life superskimmer 65
mag 3 return

Don't want to keep you waiting any longer!!!!

Not too worried about the Krylon on the PVC, but I am concerned that you painted UNDER the bulkheads. If I were to do this same thing, (which I have plans to do exactly that) I would tape off the part of the glass that the bulkheads will fit and paint around them. That way the glass would be sealed. Hmmm, now that i have typed that, I guess the seal will be against the inside of the glass rather than the back and the outside ring is simply there to hold the seal against the inside glass..... Um.. Er.. Carry on then. :D

And I do believe the kind of spray paint that you wanted to buy was Krylon FUSION. As it has a chemical bond to plastics which will last against marine environments. I hope you have good luck with just the regular Krylon. I don't forsee any problems.

Nice Set up, You're living my dream!

i will be doing the same with a 20 H but i had a corner overflow built... i just need to drill my tank out, but im being lazy. i dont have my stand or canopy built yet either. thanks for hte pics ill use them for reference.

looks good

skippy23- Those two bulkheads willl handle about 900-1000gph from what i read 2" will hold 500 ph each.

Im not to worried about the paint on the pipe in the tank its going to be covered with corline soon i hope soit it falls off i can just put come black ones on there

As for the paint under the bulkheads they are well siliconed and have had not leaks so far

Im going to have to do somthing about those down pipes they are so loud does any one have any ideas how to quiet it down?? the bulkheads are slurping to any ideas??

Skimmer should be here soon and the MH lights should be here today!!!

I don't think the tank is going to have a cycle i moveed all the sand in my 20l with it and also about 15 gallons of the water. It has a small spike in ammonia but i think it is about ready for some livestock!!!!! :-)
