After much debating, I finally chose a new tank a couple weeks ago, and I'm ready to make the switch from my 72 to my new 120.

The move is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, probably late afternoon-ish.

My original tank is upstairs in my den, and the new set up is built into the wall in my basement, so it should be much fun.

I'm posting b/c I'm going to need several people willing to get their hands wet for the day. I need helpers.

I encourage you all to bring extra buckets, tubs, containers, rubbermaids, etc. for the transfer of assorted stuff. In addition, anyone who can bring over some RO/DI water will be well liked. Extra heaters and powerheads are always welcome too, as will any donations...like...if you want to bring me some more live rock or something to fill out the bigger tank...:lmao::lmao:

As an extra incentive...if anyone needs some live sand i'll probably have some to spare by the time everything is transferred.

I live in the Smithtown/Hauppauge area which is over by Ray for anyone who has been to his place before. Zip is 11787.

Please RSVP via PM or posting. I'll have some nice snacks for you guys...and if you're lucky maybe Christine will show up with a cake and Bill will bring some of his homemade brew.

liana i always have on hand about 50 gallons of ro water. just stop by with buckets. i can help early this saturday but have to bounce out by noon. just can't do much heavy lifting. i can bring water for you.

Most of my buckets are full from my own move (I still have 2 10g to move from my brother's to my new place so all my stuff is a mess too.

I might be able to help. I can only provide two 33 gallon heavy duty garbage cans and muscle.
I can move the tank downstairs and any water, as long as there is one other person capable of lifting heavy weight.
If I cannot make it, you still have dibs on using my containers.

I will be honest with you, you couldn't have picked a worse holiday weekend to do this.
Can you wait until next Saturday?
