Moving Reef tank Turbo won't let go?

Hi,
I emptied my reef tank to give to my nephew. Everything is out except
one giant turbo snail. It stuck itself at the top in a corner and won't move!
I just tried RO on it, did nothing. Afraid of twisting or pulling to hard.
Any suggestions? He been in the tank for over 5 years and doesn't want to leave even without water in it?.

Use a fingernail or credit card to slide under rear.end of.foot, it will let go immediately.

Yep, credit card will work.
