Hello All,

I am moving to North Carolina in late June and will be selling off my aquarium and livestock beforehand. I will be setting up a larger tank in NC. All proceeds go towards the new tank :) I have the following for sale (prices are negotiable):

Equipment:

1 x 20L tank, glass top, matching black pine stand (with DIY shelf inside), 10g glass sump with DIY baffles, and intake ($200 for all)
1 x generic external overflow (1" or 1.5" drain), U-tube, DIY Stockman silencer (in-tank box is transparent smoky-gray in color), and J-tube return ($35)
1 x 175w Cool Touch magnetic halide ballast (plug and play) ($75)

(The equipment is only a year old--it was purchased from Elmer's in order to transfer some livestock from my old 75g when I moved to a smaller apartment. I am keeping my lights, skimmer, and other equipment to use on my new tank).

I may also have a few submersible pumps/powerheads for sale, but I'll need to consider that further.

Fish:
1 x juvenile Scopas Tang (~3" long)
1 x Fridmani psuedocromis (captive bread) (~2" long)
1 x blue damsel (~1.5" long)

I would prefer to sell all three fish together as they get along very well. They are beautiful fish and very responsive to my activities in and around the tank. ($50 for all 3)

Live Rock:

About 60lbs (I'd guess): mostly Fiji, but also a couple of Caribbean pieces; 4-5 largish pieces (12" or greater), some formed into a nice arch or cave. Lots of smaller pieces, including "rubble"-sized. Many of the larger pieces have good pink, purple, and green coralline growth on them, but by no means totally covered. ($150)

I have misc. snails (Astrea and ) and hermit crabs that I'll give to whoever buys the LR (20+).

Coral/Inverts:

1 x 4" cabbage leather mounded on similarly-size rock ($25)
1 x 3" bright orange-skirted yellow/green-eyed zoos frag (~25 medium-sized polyps) ($20)
1 x 1.5" yellow/pink zoos frag (~35 small polyps) ($10)
1 x 4" tonga brach LR with mix of yellow and green zoos (~50 small polyps) ($20)
1 x 1" Kenya tree (?) frag mounted on small rock ($15)
2 x 1-1.5" ricorea mushrooms (each with 3 mouths); 1 is mounted to a small rock ($10), the other is mounted to a 4" rock ($20) (or both for $25)
1 x 4" rescued GSP (in poor health; ~10 polyps ) with largish tunicate ($5)

Or I'll sell everything together for $550.

If anyone wants a lot of the livestock/LR I'd be willing to reduce the price for a package deal. Once the livestock and LR are gone, I will be happy to part with the tank and other equipment. I will reserve livestock/items on a first-come basis. Please post or PM with any questions.

Thanks,
Christian

Mike--

I'll need to borrow a friend's digital camera. I'll try and post pics of everything tomorrow or the next day. Thanks!

I dont know if you would be interested or not, but i would take all three of the zoo rocks (yellow/green eyed, yellow and pink, and the yellow and green) for $35. Let me know.

Mike

Mike--

Maybe. Let me get my friend's camera, and post some pics of everything. Then you and others can decide what you might want. Thanks, and I'll be in touch soon.

George,

I'm in the Regent Square area (near Forbes and Braddock). I'm heading to the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle of NC. You're the first to inquire about the ricordea, so I'll set them aside for you until you see/decide on them. Again, I hope to have pics up today.

Thanks,
Christian

I realized the price on the 20l tank, stand, and 10g sump was too high (they retail for about $170 new at Elmer's). I'll drop the price on the tank, stand, and sump to $125 complete, or $150 with the overflow and return (no pump), or OBO (either combination).

Also, I'll drop the price on:

the ballast to $50,
the cabbage coral to $20,
the kenya frag to $10,
all three fish to $45,
and the live rock to $125 (all ~60lbs.)

Sale of all zoo frags pending to ste6168.

Would you be interested that 175 watt ballest for the light set up I have for sale about 2 lines under this thread" Light and stuff for sale" ??? Schscountryboy just a thought and does the socket and bulb come with it??

schscountryboy--

It's just the ballast, no socket/fixture, or bulb. Thanks for the offer, but I'm keeping my VHO/halide hood for later use and don't have any need of another light fixture at present.

I would consider trading anything here for a VHO dimmer though...

All three zoos sold.
Small ricordea sold.
LR pending pickup tommorrow.

Cabbage coral, large ricordea, and kenya tree coral still available, as are all three fish.

Also, second price drop on the tank, stand, and sump to $100 complete, or $125 with the overflow and return (no pump).
