My family and I are moving to Florida in July and cannot bear to put our livestock through the 3-day trip. We're not getting out of the hobby and hate to see many of our favorite fish and corals go but we must. It will be several months after we move before we'll have a stable place to re-setup the tank and perhaps convince my wife to let me buy a bigger one
.
Some of the prices might be high or low, dunno. I know what we paid for stuff and if you have a reasonable offer on something I'm willing to make a deal.
I would like to see most of the coral and rock before the fish, simply because they are a pain the @!#% to catch when the tank is fully stocked. I may also set up an open "fish house" for times when anyone interested can come by on the weekend and check things out and decide if there's anything they like. My photography sucks and I know the pictures don't do anything justice.
First, on the coral and live rock, let's just get these questions/answers out of the way:
Do you have algea? Sure, how much do you want? OK, we do have a little hair algae after we got rid of our yellow tang and have not had a chance to buy a new clean-up crew, and now I won't be obviously.
Do you have aiptasia? Duh, yes.
Do you have bristle worms? A few, the six-line though has eaten half of what we did have since we got him though.
We've had our tank for 4.5 years now and it will be hard to get rid of some of these corals and fish we've had since we started, although a fresh start will be nice.
Here's the list, if you want pictures, rather than litter this thread with them I have a Photobucket album set up here: http://s104.photobucket.com/albums/m199/chadscharf/fishtank/
