Moving...

Hello URS family,

I looks like I might be moving for work and the tank can't come with me... It has been set up for 2 years now and I didnt think that 2 years from then I would be posting this on the forum. Is buy-back at a LFS worth it? does anyone have any experience doing it? Thanks!

I'd think your best bet would be to piece it out here on RC. A bit more of a PITA but more bang for your buck. Buy-backs are usually better if you're staying in the hobby, store credit, trades, etc.

If you're getting out, I'd piece it out as much as you can. Start sooner than you think. Moving day sneaks up on you.

Good luck with the move. Hopefully it's for a better opportunity.

Paul, i would piece it out and let everyone know whats being sold.. and of course have "tank it all for an X" amount.. Maybe i'll pick something up for my new tank.

You're not gonna get great cash from a buyback, but it's a no-hassle thing. If your time means more to you than the money, it can be a good way to go, but if you need the cash, part it out.

offer it up as a complete pkg (local /rc) long shot ,but you never know. i'm shopping for a complete set up. part it out, if it doesn't move.
